"Desde la angustia y el dramatismo de una Ciudad de México cargada de voces, sollozos y ruido, Diles Que No Me Maten fungen como orquestadores y creadores de sinfonías de las calles, avenidas y estructuras de una urbe capitalina en constante apresuro.
Como un cuento o novela literaria, Jonás Derbez (voz, saxofón), Andrés Lupone (bajo), Jerónimo García (guitarra) y los hermanos Ponce: Raúl (batería, percusiones) y Gerardo (guitarra, sintetizadores) son los capítulos que dan vida a una obra donde la música no tiene un género particular, todo funciona como eso, solo música y melodías atmosféricas.
Tras dos álbumes en su discografía grabados en el anti-estudio Progreso Nacional, 'Edificio' (2020) y 'La Vida De Alguien Más' (2022), Diles que no me maten dejan fluir sus ideas en conjunto a sus propios ideales, mismos que los ha llevado a formar parte del Festival Hipnosis 2021 y tocar en muchos de los escenarios importantes para la industria independiente, así como hacer tour por varios estados de la República Mexicana."

Obrigaggi (2023) – el más reciente álbum:
Grabado en una casa con una arquitectura peculiar y excéntrica, ubicada en Xalapa, el grupo se aventuró a una producción propia.
Asistida, producida y realizada con la mano derecha de Mateo Sanchez Galán (Telemat, Sei Still).
Con el peso de la transición de la infancia a la adustez, el grupo ahora refleja un sonido que encuentra su inspiración desde el adentro. Observan sus emociones mas profundas y personales.
Este nuevo sonido recae en la vulnerabilidad y la fragilidad, alejándose de los sonidos rudos y casi violentos que caracterizaron sus dos primeros álbumes. Y en marzo de este año lo presentaron en la edición del Pitchfork Music Festival México acompañados de King Krule, Protomartyr, Corridor y más.
La música de Diles Que No Me Maten es un adentramiento a la intimidad de las palabras y el sonido de la rutina diaria; sus consecuencias, repercusiones, pero también sus gloriosas victorias ante una realidad siempre inquietante del no saber qué sucederá.

"From the anxiety and drama of a Mexican city (CDMX) overloaded with voices, tears and noise, Diles Que No
Me Maten act as orchestrators and creators of symphonies of streets, avenues and structures of a metropolitan
cloud that finds itself on a constant hurry.
Like a fairy tale or a literary novel, Jonás Derbez (vocals, saxophone), Andrés Lupone (bass), Jerónimo García
(guitar) and the Ponce brothers: Raul (drums) and Gerardo (guitar and synthesiser), these are the chapters that
make up a play in which the music has no specific genre.
Everything works just like that, just music and atmospheric melodies.
After two albums in their catalogue recorded in the anti-studio "Progreso Nacional", "Edificio" (2020) and "La Vida de Alguien Más" (2022), Diles Que No Me Maten let their ideas flow along their ideals, which has led them to become part of the Hipnosis Festival 2021 and present themselves in many of the most important venues for independent music.
This has also led them to tour through various states of the Mexican Republic.

Recorded on a house on Xalapa (MX) with an eccentric and peculiar architecture, the group found themselves venturing into a self-made production, assisted, produced and realized with the right hand of Mateo Sanchez Galán (Telemat, Sei Still).
Feeling the weight of their transition into adulthood and maturity, the group is now reflecting a sound that sources its inspiration from the inside. They look into their deepest and personal emotions. This new sound lies on vulnerability and fragility, drifting away from the harsh and almost violent sounds that characterized their first two records.
